Oil paintings take a while to dry but they will often be available for purchase during the drying period.

The painting is dry to the touch in 3 months and a protective spray varnish can be applied at this time. It will protect the painting but is still breathable enough to allow the painting to continue drying. After this varnish is applied, the painting can be handed over to the costumer.

The painting is fully dry in about 12 months. At this time the final varnish can be applied to fully protect the painting and bring out the colors. The painting can stay in my possession until the final varnish has been applied if the customer chooses so.
If the costumer has chosen to pick up the painting before the final varnish has been applied, the painting can be returned to be at a later date for varnishing or customer will be provided with instructions on how to varnish the painting.
